New York for Syrian Refugees (NY4SR) is a charitable, not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Volunteers with NY4SR are community members who are eager to assist new Syrian families directly by addressing basic needs and such things as housing, employment, education, and medical health. Volunteers also help families connect with their children\u2019s schools to help them excel academically.
